A shining star was brought to me
With innocence and purity
Her Laughter echoes in the night
We grasp at straws
And hold on tight
To what seems like eternity
We walk together
Alexis and me

We look above
And wonder why
Her daddy's gone
Now, she and I
Will need each other just to find
Some comfort from what's left behind

The stories and the photographs 
Can makes us smile and make us laugh
But tears still glisten down our face
Chad's memory now
